With over fifteen years in the events industry including time as Events Manager at The Trafford Centre, Nicky has worked with numerous high profile clients and delivered a wide range of events including national product launches, award ceremonies and cutting edge communications conferences. As MD of her own company she continues to offer the experience, imagination and flair on which her reputation has been built.

Finance Manager

Michelle joined Don’t Panic in January 2016 as Finance Manager. She is a CIMA qualified professional with considerable experience within the business services and leisure industries, her previous roles include Management Accountant at Xchanging and Financial Controller at the Macdonald Dunkenhalgh Hotel.  She possesses great organisation, communication, internal control and analysis skills.

Joe graduated in July 2014 with a degree in Events Management from Manchester Metropolitan University. Alongside his degree he worked in conferencing and used his skills as a volunteer. He even found himself volunteering to be Tom Cruise’s guide whilst working at DisneyWorld’s Animation Courtyard.

Georgina joined Don’t Panic in July 2015 as an Events Manager. Gaining a degree in Marketing Management in 2012, she dived straight into the world of events working on projects for both public and private sector clients.  From recreating the infamous Hacienda, to dressing up as a Koala across the UK, she has gained experience in all areas of the industry.  Following a career move into recruitment, Georgina realised she had the bug for organised chaos and pursued an excited return into event management.

After graduating with a History degree in June 2015, Becky decided to pursue a career in events after getting a taste for it working part time at a local venue. She completed a 4 week work experience placement at Don’t Panic and was taken on full time as an Events Assistant in March 2016. In September 2016, Becky was promoted to full time Events Manager.

Alex graduated in 2015 with a degree in Events Management from Manchester Metropolitan University. Alongside her degree she interned with a wedding and event planner working on various projects including wedding exhibitions, private and corporate parties. Alex completed a 4 week work experience with Don’t Panic and joined the team in April 2016 as a full time events assistant, and has recently been promoted to Events Manager.

After completing college, Sarah went on to progress in social media and online sales. She was fortunate enough to gain exposure to all aspects of the business in this role, which gave her the insight to discover her true calling in the events industry. Sarah is also a qualified beautician, a big foodie and loves a cold beer (Peroni to be specific). Sarah completed a week of work experience with Don’t Panic and then joined the team in July 2016 as a full time Events Assistant, and has been recently promoted to event manager.

Chloe Chadwick

Creative Director

Chloe graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University as BA (Hons) Graphic Design. During her time at university and thereafter, she has been involved in several design events, exhibitions and fairs, including the Manchester Print Fair as part of Design MCR in October 2014. Chloe joined us in January 2015 as an in-house Graphic Designer and was recently promoted to Creative Director where she is responsible for the look and feel of Don't Panic and our client and own-branded events.

After seven years working in the charity sector, James decided he wanted to be a designer in 2014. He studied at Shillington College in Manchester and then spent a year working as a graphic designer for Leeds University Union. James joined the creative team at Don’t Panic in May 2016 and works on the branding of the events we run.

Laura gained great analytical skills through a degree in Psychology from Bangor University, and since rising through the ranks in a fast-paced creative agency, managing the marketing for Don’t Panic was a great next step!

Marketing Assistant

With a degree in Creative & Professional Writing from Nottingham University, Selina got into Marketing through freelance writing and blogging. She interned at publishing houses in Manchester and London before getting a job as an in-house Marketing Assistant for a fashion retailer. Since then, she has worked as a Social Media Assistant at a creative agency and as a Digital Marketing Exec for a summer camp in Canada. Selina joined Don’t Panic in February 2017.

He previously worked for First Choice Holidays as Team Manager and Yell selling advertising into the Yellow Pages and digital media. After a decade at Yell, he went to Michigan, USA to coach soccer for 6 months. He's also a keen cricketer and captain of Ramsbottom 2nds.

Gemma has over 10 years’ experience in business development, primarily working at PRS for Music, where she managed relationships with potential and existing high-profile songwriters. She also previously worked with the rock band Muse at their management company, with Premier League footballers at a sports agency and most recently with corporate members and sponsors at the Royal Exchange Theatre.
